Classical guitarist Brett Gómez has established himself as one of Australia's most promising emerging classical guitarists, earning prizes at major international guitar competitions.

Brett completed a Master of Arts in Guitar Performance at the Universität Mozarteum Salzburg, studying with Marco Tamayo, after earning a Bachelor of Music (Performance) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where he studied with Vladimir Gorbach.

His repertoire centres on the great masterpieces of the classical guitar, from J.S. Bach and Giulio Regondi to the major works of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.

Alongside his performing career, Brett teaches at some of Sydney's leading independent schools and maintains a select private studio, where he prepares students for examinations, competitions, university auditions, and professional careers.
